The essentially wireless load (a.k.a. wireless power transfer) uses electromagnetic fields to safely transfer the power from a transmission source to a receiving device in order to charge (or recharge) a battery. And as its name suggests, it does so without the use of a physical connection. Wireless charging is based on the principle of magnetic resonance, or Inductive Power Transfer (IPT). This is the process of transferring an electric current between two objects by using coils to induce an electromagnetic field.
