ZHT is a distributed hash table, which has been adjusted for specific high performance computing requirements (eg reliable / reliable hardware, fast networks, non-existent churn, low latencies, and scientific data access). ZHT aims to be a fundamental element for future distributed systems, with the aim of offering excellent availability, fault tolerance, high performance, scalability, persistence and low latencies. ZHT has several important features that make it a better candidate than other distributed hash tables and key-value stores, such as being lightweight, dynamically allowing nodes to join and abandon, tolerate errors through replication, and handle Graceful and efficient faults propagating events throughout the process, a coherent and customizable hashing function that supports persistence for better failover, scalable and supports unconventional operations such as add (provide key / value changes Concurrent without locking) in addition to insert / search / delete. To provide ZHT with a persistent backend, we also create a persistent and fast key-value store that could be easily integrated and operated on a lightweight Linux operating system normally found in today's supercomputers.
