Yubashree - Bekar Vata; Yuvasree is a financial assistance scheme of Government of West Bengal for the unemployed youth of West Bengal. This Yuvasree, scheme was previously known by Yuva Utsaha Prakolpo (YUP). From October, 2013 This Scheme has been implemented. This scheme is maintained by the Labour Department of West Bengal.
Motto of Yuvasree ::
To provide Unemployment Assistance (Bekar Vata) to the unemployed youths of West Bengal for increasing employment ability and the skill of an unemployed person.
Process Flow of Yuvasree Scheme ::
1 - Register with Employment Bank You need to enroll your name in Employment Bank's Website (employmentbankwb.gov.in) as a Job Seeker. Your Personal Details(Name, Address, Height(cm), weight(kg), Chest(cm) etc.), Educational Qualification Details and Other Details will be required at the time of Registration. Number of Voter ID/Ration Card/Passport will be required at the time of registration. Scan of Photograph & Signature will also be required.
* Validate Temporary EB Registration ID/Username On successful registration at Employment Bank's website you will receive a confirmation notification containing a temporary EB Registration ID/Username, now take a printout of this page and visit nearest Employment Exchange with all your documents in original and the printout. They will verify your documents and if you pass the verification then they will make your temporary EB-ID/Username permanent & you will be provided a password for your EB profile. an SMS as a confirmation of successful registration containing your EB A/C Credentials will be sent to you. You may check your Job Seeker profile at Employment Bank's website with that login information/credentials.
2 - Provisionally Identification for Yubasree Now Employment Bank Official will identify some unemployed person who are initially eligible for receiving assistance as per Yubasree Scheme. an SMS containing the quoted text will be sent to them who are provisionally identified. "Enrol no EB20131513375791 provisionally identified for Yuasree-2013. Apply to SDO Office by 31.12.2013. Forms available in EmpBank website/SDO Office". When you receive an SMS like above only then you are eligible to apply for Yuvasree.
3- Apply for Yuvasree - After Receiving SMS you need to apply for Yuvasree with supporting document. you also need to submit The Yubasree Application Form & Enclosers to SDO Office/Office of Joint Director of Employment. See below "How to Apply" section of this post for details.
4- Verification & Granting - Your Submitted Application will be verified by the Official, and you will start receiving Rs. 1500/- to your bank Account, if you are finally selected. There is no guarantee that you will receive the amount on Application.
Eligibility Criteria for Yuvasree ::
Applicant should be Registered with the Employment Bank as job-seeker
Applicant must be unemployed and resident of West Bengal
Applicant should be 18-45 years of age as on 01.04.2013
Applicant's educational qualification should be class VIII passed and above
He/She has not availed financial assistance/ loan under any State/ Central Government sponsored Self-Employment Scheme.
Only one member of the family is eligible to receive assistance under the scheme.
Type of Assistance ::
Beneficiary will receive Rs. 1500/- each month but the beneficiary will require to submit about the utilization of the benefited amount. for example how the beneficiary is developing himself for increasing employment ability with the help of that assistance. (a document of Yubasree named ANNEXURE-III to be submited to the SDO/Joint Director of Employment, Kolkata after every six months, to ensure receiving continuation of that Assistance).
