Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka a University of Health Sciences first in India was established on June 1, 1996 in Bangalore by the Government. From Karnataka through its enactment of the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka Act of 1994 to encompass all existing colleges and health science institutions that were formerly affiliated with conventional universities in Karnataka for the purpose To ensure an appropriate and systematic teaching, Research in modern and Indian medical systems.
