Sport & Game
sport is a an integral part of education in the SOM-LALIT SCHOOL, as ut develops a child physically as well as mentally various terms of sports are played by styudents in the school play area
annual sports day is organised for students of all classes. The pupils participate in a variety of athletic events.
Art
We have qualified facility who train the students in creative art from early childhood the students are encouraged to develop their tolenls by participating in various art and craft competition held during the year

It is a part of reqular curriculum students learn a mix of treditional, folk and populer indian songs from the trained qualified faculty

The School participates in Inter-School cultural festival for schools where students get an opportunity to show their talents and learn presentation skills.
Academic activities to achieve excellence beyond regular studies
1) Olympiad :- Every year students of our school actively participate in international olympiad exams for maths and science conducted in the school. It provides sample only to test their skills but also sharpen them accordingly and Know how about international standard.
All the participants are awarded with the student participation certificate and students who prove their math are awarded with models and certificate.
2) Spelling Bee :- Our students participate in International Spelling Bee competition which prepares the young generation to the future challenges and career related competitions.

In Som-Lalit School every year annual function is celebrated with enthusianm and vigour.
Every child has a unique quality inside so to bringout that hidden talent almost all the children of Som-Lalit School are brought on the stage to perform.
Stage performance helps the children to remove stage fear and it brings confidence in them. Students as well as teachers unite together and do rigorous practice for almost one mouth before setting the stage on fire.

The School Annual day is perhaps the function that are most eagerly await each year. this year too we had begin to prepare well in advance on the day of the function the entrance to the hall had been beautifully decorated with flowers and glittering banner.
A flower-bedecked path to the hall where the function was to be held as the parents took thair seats the function started as the student performed to a Variety of songs and dances.
the teachers along with the choreographers and the students worked very hard to put up a great show and the result was evident by the performance of the children The parents were very excited about the performance and fuult very proud of their children.
The atmosphere was relaxed and carefree as parents talk to reachers and also to other parents.
the annual function ended with the vote of the each by the principal where in the thanked the trustees the teachers and Students for putting up a great show.
Library
The School Library caters to the information needs of nearly 1400 students and 50 staff members. With a collection of more than 15000 judiciously selected books, 45 periodicals and Educational Multimedia
The library complement the teaching learning process inspiring the students to dream high.
The library strives to make resources readily accessible when and wherever they are needed to enhance and promote the total growth and development of the students. The library endeavors to provide students with opportunities to learn how to utilize materials in a variety of formats to access information so that they can continue lifelong learning.
