Each and every one of us can take a simple steps to save water every day and help to conserve this limited resource.

Simple actions to conserve water

In the bath Room: The average flush tank holds more water than required. Save water by replacing a plastic container filled with sand and gravel in the flush tank.
Stop the drip: A small drip from from a leaky tap is just a drop in a bucket, right? Wrong! Even a slow leak can waste many liters of water in a day.
So, make a list of the places where you find leaks and get them repair.
Vegetable washing: The water used for the vegetable washings can be used for watering your plants.

Washing dishes: Don't wash the vessels with running water.
Fill a small tub with warm soapy water and soak the dishes.
Fill another tub with water after scrubbing finally rinse with running water.

Cloth washing: Don't let the tap run when you wash clothes. Soak the clothes prior to wash this will help to cut down the number of rinses. Operate your washing machine in ECO mode to conserve water.


Washing Vehicles: If you use a hose for cleaning your vehicle put a nozzle to control the flow of water.
Make sure that the hose using for washing your vehicle is free from leaks.
You can save a lot of water by cleaning your vehicle with water from bucket.
