 Watchdog software captures video from an input device and processes this video in real-time to find significant changes between frames.

 Uses both camera and saved video as input source

 Algorithm
1. Create initial background image
2. Get image dimension width and height
3. Repeat following steps until there are no subsequent frames in video stream
4. Get next frame and convert it to grayscale image
5. Find difference of corresponding pixels in two images ie – background image and current grayscale image
6. Perform image binarization –after which pixels with intensity above some threshold value are converted to white pixels and those with intensity below threshold are converted to black pixels
7. Calculate white pixels
8. If white pixels are more than zero -Motion detected, trigger events
9. Go to step4
10. Stop
