INTRODUCTION

The project University Allotment Management System is aimed at developing a software which enables the administrator to allot students to various colleges under a particular University in an easy and user friendly manner. The various services incorporated in this project are option registration for colleges and course, higher option features and allotment process. The administrator i.e. the University has the full authority to do the administrator side operations. The users are also given the authority to do the user side operations.

The programming has been accomplished in ASP.Net He is then given a user name and a password, which he can select according to his choice. Only restriction is that multiple persons will not be permitted to accept the same user name. This restriction is given in order to provide security for the user. Security is the main feature in this field. The second one is the authentication procedures on the client as well as administrator side. Access is granted only after completing these processes. In the administration side all facilities secured from unauthorized users.
