INTRODUCTION
All most people in this world like to travel through beautiful places,because good and enjoyable journey will give us a lot of calm and happiness in our mind.In this travel assignment I explained something about a beautiful journey through Austria and Hungary.these two contries have different specialities in their own way.

HISTORY OF AUSTRIA
In 1996 Austrians celebrated a thousand years of their country’s recorded existence, although some scholars claim Austria may even be older. The nation known today as Austria (Österreich, ers-ter-rykh) had its modest beginnings as the “Eastern March,” a military colony established by the Frankish ruler Karl der Große (Charlemagne)

GRAZ
Graz in Austria is situated on the Mur River. It is also the capital of Styria. Graz is full of forests and the greenery has attracted large number of tourists. Graz experiences a Mediterranean climate. Rain and wind are less compared to the other cities of Austria. Smog is common in winter. The Schlossberg castle is very famous in Graz. This castle is situated on a rock .The Bell tower and the Clock towers are very famous in the city.
ARMOURY
Incredible 32,000 historical arms and military equipment on five floors. The Landeszeughaus (Provincial Armoury) in Herrengasse is reputed to be the most outstanding historical weapons collection in the world.
HAUPTPIATZ
The major shopping streets lead to the square. And crowded around the monument to Archduke Johann, there are numerous sausage stands ("Würstelstände") where people like to stand together to have some Krainer or frankfurter sausages with horseradish and mustard, and a pleasant chat. SCHLOSSBERG
A castle standing on a rock ledge of this hill more than 1,000 years ago gave the city its name. From the Slavic word gradec, meaning "little castle", Graz derived. And the little castle was made a huge fortress. In 1809 it was blown up by Napoleon.
STADTPARK
Graz as a garden city – more than 70% of its area are green spaces. Seemingly a waste of green, the Stadtpark (city park) stretches like a belt around the formerly fortified Old Town. Thanks to some capable people in the 19th century, buildings were not allowed to be erected on the former Glacis, and the park with its in part exotic trees was created
STANDTPFARRKIRCHE
In Herrengasse a luxuriant Baroque tower rises above all other buildings. It belongs to Stadtpfarrkirche, the municipal parish church of Graz. Its eventful history tells about a little Gothic chapel in the dissolved Jewish quarter, about its time as the church of a Dominican monastery, about Baroque and neo-Gothic redesigning, and about the bombs in the Second World War.
INNSBRUCK’S
Past and future meet in the heart of the Alps, where Innsbruck’s world-famous sights, which testify to the Tirol province’s great past, stand alongside post-modern international architecture to create a fascinating blend.
AMBRAS CASTLE
The Castle was built by Archduke Ferdinand II of Austria (1529-1595), Count of Tyrol, in the sixteenth century. It’s divided into a lower and an upper castle set in the remains of a medieval fortress. Once, this was Ferdinand’s favorite residence and the center of his court’s cultural life. The lower castle was built by the Archduke as a museum for his different collections, featuring arms and armor, art and books.
INNSBRUCK ALPINE ZOO
Located at an elevation of about seven hundred and thirty meters this is the highest situated zoo in Europe. It features more than two thousand animal and one hundred and fifty species of Alpine animals. A special feature of this zoo is that it depicts Alpine animals in historical and contemporary form, and this is the only zoo in the world that show such a full collection of European Alpine animals in aquariums, enclosures and outdoor terrariums.
GMUNDN
Gmunden is situated 170 kilometers southwest of Vienna, forty kilometers southwest of Linz and seventy-six kilometers northeast of Salzburg at an altitude of 425 meters and has around 15000 residents. This lively town is well known as a Spa Resort since 1860s and it is now one of the most famous summer resorts in the region of Salzkammergut.
TUX
Tux is a hospitable resort with long traditions, magnificent landscapes and various events. It has 1978 inhabitants and is located 1500m above the sea level. It is near a mountain and has ski-in/ski-out. It also is surrounded by meadows, forests, beautiful Alpine flowers and the Hintertux Glacier.

Sopron, a romantic border town  lies to the south-west of Lake Fertő which is and ideal place for relaxation and sightseeing. It is one of the richest Hungarian cities in terms of culture, blessed with a multitude of historic buildings dating back to Barroque and New Gothic times and lying in a marvellous landscape.
HAJDUSZOBOSZLO
Hajdúszoboszló is on the northeastern part of Alföld, 200 kms from Budapest and 20 kms from Debrecen. It is bordered by three important regions: Hortobágy, Hajdúhát, and the region of Sárrét-Berettyó.

The Fertö/Neusiedler Lake area has been the meeting place of different cultures for eight millennia. This is graphically demonstrated by its varied landscape, the result of an evolutionary symbiosis between human activity and the physical environment.

Ipolytarnóc is famous for its Fossils Nature Conservation Area. Thanks to a volcano, which erupted about 20 million years ago, the original morphology of the land surface and fossils of its original vegetation and animals were conserved.

The landscape of the Hortobágy National Park preserves intact and visible the evidence of its traditional use over more than two millennia and represents the harmonious interaction between human beings and nature.
JÓSVAFO CAVE
JÓSVAFO CAVE

Hidden among the Aggtelek-karst hills, the village owes its celebrity to the presence of an extensive cave system. In 1995, UNESCO placed this cave system, which also extends into Slovakia, onto its World Heritage List.
