Hi friends,
I'm doing a "student project" on designing a high temperature pressure vessel with required piping and supporting structures, using ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, Section VIII.
316L Stainless Steel is to be used for this design.
Design parameters are as follows
• Diameter 3 feet
• Height 5 feet
• Max. Design temperature 900 C
• Max. Design pressure 2 bar
Can somebody please help me with these calculations? I would appreciate it a lot.
Thanks

Hi, thanks for replying on my project request. But my project is based on high temperature application with using 316L stainless steel (non corrosive sheet metal / No need of corrosion allowance) . Unfortunately the project design given here is based on low temperature with using of corrosive sheet metal (where a corrosion allowance is needed). Do you have any ability to help me with my particular calculations? I just need these calculations and not any other back ground details because I just have to print this project on 25 papers (A4)(including drawings and all that) so just precise calculations would be enough.
