Jorhat Engineering College is one of the premier institutions of North East India and the second Government Engineering College of Assam. The college was established in 1960 by the government of Assam. The college is affiliated to Dibrugarh University, Dibrugarh, Assam and is accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education.
