CONSTRUCTION

The 4 stroke, 33 BHP engine is put at the rear to increase the inside space and to give it a sporty look.
624 cc engine is smaller in size as compared to rest of the car engines but still efficient as far as the speed is concerned.
It gives an average speed of 60 miles per hour.
A team of 500 engineers have worked to convert as many vital functions as possible into electronic systems to make as much free space available.

WORKING

Use of rear wheel drive engine.
Engine is situated at the rear.
Two-cylinder gasoline engine.
Use of all-aluminium, two-cylinder, 623 cc, 33 PS, multi point fuel injection petrol engine.
Design strategy has helped minimise weight.
Delivers high fuel efficiency.
ADVANTAGES

Even weight distribution
Weight transfer during acceleration
Steering radius
Better handling in dry conditions
Better braking
Towing
Serviceability
Robustness
DIS-ADVANTAGES

Improper weight distribution when loaded.
Increased weight.
Decreased interior space.
Reduced steering ability under heavy acceleration.

PRESENTATION ON NANO CAR TECHNOLOGY

Main Sware parts of Nano car 1.AC motor. 2.An automatic transmission 3.The 120/240-volt charging system(Magna-Charger) 4.Gas gauge

1.Ac motor: 1.Motor is a device which converts electrical energy to mechanical energy. 2.This mechanical conversion is used to move the car towards the direction

An automatic transmission

An automatic transmission shifter is used to select forward and reverse. It contains a small switch, which sends a signal to the controller
The shifter for the manual transmission was replaced with a switch, disguised as an automatic transmission shifter, to control forward and reverse.

Charging system
A battery tray was installed in the floor of the car.
Fifty 12-volt lead-acid batteries were placed in the battery tray (two sets of 25 to create 300 volts DC).
Electric motors were added to power things that used to get their power from the engine: the water pump, power steering pump, air conditioner.
A vacuum pump was added for the power brakes (which used engine vacuum when the car had an engine).
