Public Works Department (PWD) had decided to follow the footprints of National Highway Authority of India for road construction. Now, the roads constructed by PWD would be repaired for one year by the construction agency without any cost.
Heavy rain in the past couple of days, had exposed the construction of PWD roads. Four roads caved in. PWD had asked contractors to repair these roads. NHAI had made a compulsory condition in agreement with contractors to repair road if gets damages in one year.
Roads in Civil Lines, Jajmau, Govind Nagar and Lal Bungalow were damaged due to showers.
