STEAM TURBINE
A steam turbine is a mechanical device that converts thermal energy in pressurized steam into useful mechanical work
Steam turbines extract heat from steam and transform it into rotational energy by expanding the steam from high to low pressure, resulting in mechanical work
Impulse Turbine
Nozzle is a passing for the flow of steam where the pressure energy of steam is converted into kinetic energy.
The steam leaves the nozzle with very high velocity.
The function of the curved blade is to convert the K.E of steam into MECH work
