Remote Monitoring and Control (M & C) systems are designed to control large or complex facilities such as factories, power plants, network operating centers, airports and spacecraft with some detention automation.

M & C can obtain data from system sensors, telemetry streams, user input and pre-ordering processes. Software can send telecommands to actuators, computer systems or other devices.
