All blood banks are connected to hospitals and there is no independent blood bank. As each hospital has its own systems and limitations, coordination between blood banks is virtually impossible. Due to the low number of donors and more number of blood banks, the efficiency and quality of blood banks are low, resulting in waste of blood and blood components.
