The web-based "Airline Reservation System" project is an attempt to stimulate the basics of the airline reservation system. The system allows the customer to do things such as searching for airline flights to two cities of travel on a specified date, choosing a flight based on details, booking flight and cancellation of the reservation.
The system allows the passenger of the airline to find flights that are available between the two cities of travel, that is, the "City of departure" and the "City of arrival" for certain dates of departure and arrival. The system displays all flight details such as flight number, name, price and duration of the trip, etc.
After searching the system for the list of available flights and allows the customer to choose a particular flight. The system then checks the availability of seats on the flight. If seats are available, the system allows the passenger to reserve a seat. Otherwise, it asks the user to choose another flight.
To book a flight, the system asks the customer to enter their data such as name, address, city, state, credit card number and contact number. Then check the validity of the card and book the flight and update the airline database and the user database. The system also allows the customer to cancel their reservation, if there is any problem.
