Dam not only has a large capacity to alleviate water shortages, especially during the dry season, which improve hydroelectric capacity, but also plays a major role in the river ecosystem. The dam has a significant effect on improving our aquatic environment and protecting the ecological system. This article addresses the three-dimensional model of dams and discusses OpenGL modeling, lighting, material, model transformation, perspective transformation technologies for Achieve visualization of the prey.

At the end of the 20th century, there have been 240 countries in which about 75 flood control countries are mainly dependent on dams, and 90% of electricity comes from hydropower. For this reason, research on a rapid three-dimensional visual simulation of prey is considered quite significant.
In recent years, computer systems, the continuous development of input and output graphics devices and computer graphics software, which create a condition for computer-aided design. The Open Graphics Library (OpenGL) is a high-performance, cross-platform 3D graphics software development system that provides strong design capabilities in two- and three-dimensional graphics. There are many factors in OpenGL for curves and quadratic drawing surfaces, such as the NURBS Curve. It is in this work that we can visualize the dam by OpenGL technology.
