Rapid assessment of digital data exchange occurs in recent years. Because information security is very important in data storage and the transmission process. The security of internet bank account passwords, email account password, etc., requires text protection in digital media. In the same way, the transmission and storage of images during industrial and research processes requires the protection of the image. The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has initiated a process to develop the Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) which should be more flexible, secure, fast and can replace the Data Encryption standard. This new standard is recognized with the name Advanced Encryption Standard (AES). Characteristics of the data depends on its types. Therefore, the same encryption technique can not be used for all data types. The images have large data size and also have real-time restriction problem, therefore, you can not use the similar method to protect the images as well as the text from unauthorized access. However, with few variations in the AES method can be used to protect the image as well as the text.
