A fingerprint assist system is a device that can be assisted by people. The fingerprint assistance system is very relevant anywhere as it aims to eliminate all the hassles of call roll and neglect and promises a complete test as well as reliable technique of keeping records of attendance from anyone. In the proposed system, we are using MATLAB software to compare the fingerprints of people whose fingerprints are already taken and stored in the database. Once the comparison is made, an Excel worksheet is generated and the attendance of that particular person is updated. In addition, the result of the update is transmitted through the serial port and displayed on the LCD. This sheet can be used for various purposes such as salary calculation, check in and check out time, etc. The main advantage of using this proposed system is that we can have an infinite number of inputs as the databases are compared and stored on a computer.
