ABSTRACT
This circuit, “SOLAR TRACKING SYSTEM”, is a power generating method from sunlight. This method of power generation is simple and is taken from natural resource. This needs only maximum sunlight to generate power. This project helps for power generation by setting the equipment to get maximum sunlight automatically. This system is tracking for maximum intensity of light. When there is decrease in intensity of light, this system automatically changes its direction to get maximum intensity of light.
The power generated from this process is then stored in a lead acid battery and is made to charge an emergency light and is made to glow during night.
INTRODUCTION
In this modern world scarcity of energy is increasing, so the unwanted sun lights are utilizing by this method for power generation. This is a power generating method from sunlight. This method of power generation is simple and is taken from natural resource. This needs only maximum sunlight to generate power. This project helps for power generation by setting the equipment to get maximum sunlight automatically Using this circuit, we can track the sunlight automatically and store it for further use.

MICRO CONTROLLER
The AT89S52 is a low-power, high-performance CMOS 8-bit microcontroller. The AT89S52 provides the following standard features: 8K bytes of Flash, 256 bytes of RAM, 32 I/O lines, Watchdog timer, two data pointers, three 16-bit timer/counters, a six-vector two-level interrupt architecture, a full duplex serial port, on-chip oscillator, and clock circuitry. The AT89S52 is designed with static logic for operation down to zero frequency and supports two software selectable power saving modes.
ADC
It is Compatible with 8080 μP derivatives. It needs no interfacing logic. It requires an access time of 135 ns. It is easy interface to all microprocessors, or operates “stand alone”. It has differential analog voltage inputs. Its logic inputs and outputs meet both MOS and TTL voltage level specifications. It works with 2.5V (LM336) voltage reference. It has a on-chip clock generator. 0V to 5V analog input voltage range with single 5V supply. It needs no zero adjust. It has a 0.3" standard width 20-pin DIP package. Its 20-pin are molded chip carrier or small outline package. It operates ratio metrically or with 5 VDC, 2.5 VDC, or analog span adjusted voltage reference
GEARED DC MOTOR
The 1271 geared instrument dc motor is ideally suited to a wide range of applications requiring a combination of low speed operation and small unit size. The integral iron core dc motor provides smooth operation and a bi-directional variable speed capability while the gear head utilizes a multi-stage metal spur gear train rated for a working torque up to 0.2 Nm.The unit, which is suitable for mounting in any attitude, provides reliable operation over a wide ambient temperature range and is equipped with an integral VDR ( voltage dependant resistor ) electrical suppression system to minimize electrical interference
