Solar Panel Manufacturing Process
After having produced the solar cells and placed the electrical contacts between the cells, they are connected and subsequently placed.
Lamination of solar panels
Sealed in ethylene vinyl acetate, they are placed in a frame that is sealed with silicon glue and covered with a mylar back at the back and a glass plate at the front.
This is the lamination process and is an important step in the process of manufacturing solar panels.
Finally, the structure is supported with aluminum frames and ready is the photovoltaic module.

Checking the output power
Before the ready panel can be sold it must hold a test procedure to ensure its power output.
Flash Test
Apart from a visual panel test, the test included a flash test that measures open circuit voltage (VOC), voltage at maximum power point (VMP), short circuit current (ISC)), maximum power (Pm (W)) and the fill factor (FF).
The parameters of the modules are measured under standard test conditions (STC).
Standard Test Conditions (STC)
STC specifies a temperature of 25 ° C and an irradiance of 1000 W / m2 with an air mass spectrum of 1,5 (AM1,5). These correspond to the irradiance and the spectrum of sunlight incident on a clear day on a surface inclined to the sun at 37 ° with the sun at an angle of 41.81 ° above the horizon. This condition represents approximately solar midday near the spring and autumn equinoxes in the continental United States with the surface of the cell directed directly at the sun.
