Annapurna Scheme
*Prime Minister :A.B.Vajpayee
*Launched on:1st April 2000
*During:9th Five Year Plan
*Organised by-The Ministry of Rural Devlopment
*The beneficiaries are given 10 kg of food grains per month free
*Eligibility - The beneficiary should be aged 65 years or above . The Annapurna schemes aims at providing food security to meet the requirement of those senoir citizens who, though eligible, have remained uncovered under the National Old Age Pension Scheme (NOAPS).


Swajaldhara
*Launched on : 25th December 2002 
*Prime Minister : A.B Vajpayee 
*Organised by : Union Ministry of Rural Development
*Objectives : Emphasizing the need for taking up community based rural water supply programmes and to open up the reform initiatives in the rural drinking water supply.

JNNURM (Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission)
*Prime Minister : Manmohan Singh
*Launched on : 12th April 2005
*During : 10th Five Year Plan
*Organised by : Ministry of Health and Urban Poverty Alleviation
*Objectives : Integrated development of basic services to the urban poor, security of tenure at affordable price, improved housing, water supply, sanitation, convergence of services in fields of education, health and social security.


AMRUT
*Prime Minister : Narendra Modi 
*Launched in : 2015
*AMRUT stands for Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation
*Organised by : Ministry of Urban Development
*AMRUT was launched in lieu of the erstwhile JNNURM.
*Objectives : Ensure water supply and a sewerage connection for every household. 
*Increase the amenity value of cities by & developing greenery and well maintained open spaces.
*Reduce pollution by promoting public transport and non-motorized transport.


NRHM - National Rural Health Mission
*Prime Minister : Manmohan Singh
*Launched on : 3rd December 2005
*During  : 10th Five Year Plan
*Organised by :Ministry of Health and Family welfare
*Objectives - To provide accessible, affordable and quality health care to the rural population.
*108 Ambulance service has been launched as a part of NRHM.
*The community health workers instituted by government of India as part of the National Rural Health Mission

NUHM (National Urban Health Mission)
*Prime Minister : Dr. Manmohan Singh 
*Launched on : 1st May 2013 
*During : 12th Five Year Plan
*Organised by : Ministry of Urban Development, Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation, Human Resource Development and Women and Child Development.
*Objectives : Availability of resources for providing essential primary health care to urban poor.


NULM -National Urban Livelihoods Mission
*Prime Minister Big Grinr. Manmohan Singh 
*Launched on:24th September 2013 
*During:12th Five Year Plan
*Organised by : Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation (MHUPA) 
*NULM replaced : Swarna Jayanti Shahari Rozgar Yojana (SJSRY)
*Objectives : To reduce poverty of the urban poor households by enabling them to access gainful self employment and skilled wage employment opportunities
*The mission would aim at providing shelters equipped with essential services to the urban homeless.
*New name of NULM-Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana - NULM (DAY-NULM)


Varishta Pension Bima Yojana (VPBY)
*The pension scheme launched for senior citizens

*The scheme has been implemented by
Ans : Life Insurance Corporation of India
*Maximum Pension Amount
Ans : 5000/ month 
*Minimum pension amount
Ans : 500 / month 
*Organised by : Ministry of Finance
*The subscriber will have the option to opt  for a pension on a monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual basis. The scheme will remain open for subscription for one year from the date of launch.


Shala Darpan Scheme
*Shala Darpan is an online portal meant to maintain an online data base of each student. From attendance to examination papers, study. ‘material, medical conditions and health challenges, everything will be recorded in the software for any reference.
*The portal, developed by National Informatics Centre (NIC) will also provide a parent-teacher interface and also help parents to regularly monitor their wards. They will also receive routine progress reports of their wards, besides the conduct during school hours.
