Community Development Programme (CDP )
*Prime Minister : Jawaharlal Nehru
*Launched on : 2nd October 1952
*During : 1st Five Year Plan
*Objectives : Improvement of agriculture and related matters, irrigation, communications, education, health, supplementary employment, housing, training, social welfare etc.
*CDP was the biggest rural reconstruction scheme undertaken by the Government of free India. 
*To increase the agricultural production reducing rural unemployment, developing the means of transportaion & communication in villages, also to improve the primary education and public health sectors were the main aims of CDP


Atal Pension Yojana (APY) (Pension Scheme)
*APY was launched on
Ans : 9th May 2015 (Kolkata)
*Came into effect from 1st June 2015
*Pension Scheme for citizens of unorganized sector
*Monthly pension amount
Ans : Rs. 1000, 2000, 5000, 4000 or 5000 (as per the contribution)
*Beneficiaries Contribution
Ans : Rs 42 - 210  per month
*Age Group
Ans : 18-40 years
*Period of Government Contribution -
Ans : 5 years
*If the beneficiary joins at the age of 18 years to get a fixed monthly pension of Rs. 1000 per month, the subscriber has to contribute on monthly basis Rs. 42 and for Rs. 5000, he has to contribute RS. 210.
*If he joins at the age of 40 to get a fixed monthly pension of Rs. 1000/month, he has to contribute on monthly basis Rs. 291 and for Rs. 5000, he has to contribute Rs. 1454/ month.
*Annual Period
Ans : Ist June - 31st May
*APY replaces
Ans : Swavalamban Yojana


HRIDAY 
*HRIDAY means
Ans : National Heritage City Development and Augmentation Yojana
*HRIDAY was launched on
Ans : 21st January 2015
*Objective - To conserve and preserve the heritage sites in the country
*How many cities are selected initially under HRIDAY-12
*12 cities undertaken by HRIDAY are Varanassi, Amritsar, Warangal, Ajmeer, Gaya, Mathura, Kanchipuram, Vellankanni, Amaravati, Badami, Dwaraka, Puri


Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY)
*PMSBY was launched on - 9th May 2015 (Kolkata)
*Renewable one year accidental death cum disability cover to all savings bank account holders
*Insurance amount for accidental death and full disability - 2 lakh
*For partial disability
Ans : 1 lakh
*Age Group
Ans : 18- 70 years
*Annual Premium
Ans : Rs. 12 per annum
*The scheme will be offered by all Public Sector General Insurance Companies
*Premium will be directly auto debited by the bank from the subscribers account.

PRASAD
*PRASAD means
Ans : National Mission on Pilgrimage Rejuvenation and Spiritual Augmentation Drive.
*Objective-Developing world class infrastructure in the respective destinations/circuits.
*The only pilgriamge centre in Kerala which has been included in this scheme
Ans : Guruvayur Sreekrishna Temple 
*How many cities are selected initially under PRASAD
Ans : 12
*12 cities undertaken by PRASAD are - Kedanathm, Kamakhya, Amritsar, Ajmeer, Gaya, Mathura, Kanchipuram, Velakanni, Amaravati, Varanasi, Dwaraka, Puri 

 
Pradhan Manthri Jeevan Jyothi Bima Yojana (PMJJBY)
*PMJJBY was launched on 9th May 2015 (Kolkata)
*Renewable one year life cover to all savings bank account holders
*Insurance amount in case of death for any reason
Ans : 2 lakh
*Age Group
Ans : 18-50 years
*Annual -Premium
Ans : Rs. 330 per annum
*Premium will be directly auto debited by the bank from the subscribers savings bank account.
*The scheme will be offered by LIC and all other life insurers who are willing to join the scheme and tie up with the banks for this purpose.
