Vehicle safety system has been a subject of great interest in recent years due to the increasing cases of reported vehicle theft around the world. Most advanced vehicle safety systems best fit four wheels. As far as the two-wheeled safety system is concerned, the systems available on the market are not the same as well-equipped thieves. When under attack, these systems can only immobilize the engine and sound a loud alarm. It is a serious limitation. In this article we propose a reliable and robust design of the Two Wheeler Vehicle Safety System (TWVSS) with features that improve vehicle safety and ensure driver safety. In our proposed safety system several new features are included in addition to the engine immobilizer and alarm. Few of the important features supported by our system are alerting the owner by SMS about the attempted theft, allowing the user to control the system remotely by SMS, tracking the vehicle's location using GPS technology, remote keyless system, fuel and rear wheel lock) and side support indicator. Redundancy is maintained to make the system reliable even in the worst case, but due to cost constraints an exchange between cost and redundancy was necessary. Our system is designed to be compatible with almost all vehicle brands.
