Abstract

Solar Roadways Incorporated is an American company based in Sandpoint, Idaho, which aims to create a smart highway to develop smart power road panels. Theore-proof of construction technology combines a transparent driving surface with solar cell, electronics and sensors to function as a solar array with programmability. The road panel should be made from recycled material and include photovoltaic cells. This project has received criticism regarding its viability.
