INTRODUCTION


Touch Screen

A touch screen is an electronic visual display.

We can interact with the display using hand or passive objects like stylus

The touch screen has two main attributes.

First, it enable to interact with what is displayed directly on the screen , where it is displayed rather than indirectly with a cursor controlled by a mouse or a touchpad.

Secondly, it lets one do so without requiring any intermediate device.



Multi-touch
It is a human-computer interaction technique
without using conventional input devices.

Multi-touch consist touch screen like screen table, wall or touchpad as well as software that recognizes multiple simultaneous touch points

This effect is achieved through a variety of means including finger pressure, high capture rate cameras,IR light, optic capture, tuned electromagnetic induction and shadow capture.

It is often used to describe other limited implementations like Gesture Enhanced Single-Touch or dual touch.
