The aluminum conductors are designed in electrolytically refined aluminum, with 99.5% aluminum. Due to corrosion resistance, high tensile and shock-proof characteristics, these aluminum conductors are used in airline applications and although for various exact applications, they are all engaged in power distribution. The entire assortment of drivers is widely used in urban areas and the brackets are closed with little space. All these conductors are composed of more than one strands of aluminum wire according to the requirements in the end use.
Concentric braided aluminum alloy conductors (AAAC) are made of high strength aluminum-magnesium-silicon alloy. Midal manufactures and supplies AAAC with different electric type alloy variants 6101 and 6201. one or more strands of 1350 aluminum alloy.
These conductors are designed to provide a better resistance to weight ratio and offer improved electrical properties, excellent shear stress characteristics and superior corrosion resistance compared to ACSR. Compared to a conventional ACSR conductor, the lightest weight, comparable strength and current load capacity, lower electrical losses and superior corrosion resistance have given AAAC wide acceptance in distribution and medium and high voltage transmission lines.
Midal can manufacture and supply AAAC on non-returnable wood / steel reels or returnable steel reels.
