The state-owned bank of India (SBI) is an Indian multinational, public sector banking and financial services company. "Multi City Check" or MCC is an installation where the customer can issue checks at the base branch and pay at any branch in the remote center. These checks will be treated as local checks at the remote branch. There will be no collection charges and credit will be given the same day, as applicable to local checks. Even if the check is withdrawn from any bank other than the base bank, there will be no collection charges.
For example, if you are paid a multiple city check by an account holder at a SBI branch in Delhi and you drop it at any bank in Mumbai where you have an account, then there will be no collection charges.
