Sir,

I VEMULURI K SUJANI RANJINI SUBMIT THAT I AM AN ACCOUNT HOLDER IN STATE BANK OF INDIA MAHARANIPETA BRANCH VISAKHAPATNAM DISTRICT ANDHRA PRADESH.
I HAVE APPLIED FOR CHEQUE BOOK ON 26.04.2017 BUT SINCE TWO MONTHS, TILL TODAY I HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE CHEQUE BOOK, I HAVE TO PAY MY CHILDREN FEES BY CHEQUE THROUGH DEMAND DRAFTS AND OTHER PAYMENTS ie LIC etc .

I REQUEST THE AUTHORITIES TO CONSIDER AND ISSUE THE CHEQUE BOOK AT AN EARLY DATE TO AVOID DELAY OF PAYMENTS.

The state bank of India (SBI) is an Indian multinational, public sector banking and financial services company. On April 1, 2017, the State Bank of India, India's largest bank merged with five of its associated banks (State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur, Hyderabad State Bank, Mysore State Bank, State Bank of Patiala and State Bank of Travancore) and Bharatiya Mahila Bank with himself. It has 198 offices in 37 countries; 301 correspondents in 72 countries. The company ranks 232 on the Fortune Global 500 list of the world's largest companies as of 2016.

The bank traces its ancestry to British India, through the Imperial Bank of India, until the founding, in 1806, of the Bank of Calcutta, making it the oldest commercial bank of the Indian subcontinent. Bank of Madras merged into the other two "presidency banks" in British India, Bank of Calcutta and Bank of Bombay, to form the Imperial Bank of India, which in turn became the State Bank of India in 1955. Bank of India in 1955, with the Central Bank of India taking a 60% stake, and renamed it the State Bank of India. In 2008, the government took over the holding of the Reserve Bank of India. State Bank of India is a banking giant and has a 20% market share in deposits and loans among Indian commercial banks.
