Hi,
I am developing a primitive robotic navigation system to aid a robot navigate along corridors. The main idea is for the robot to take image of the corridor process the image by detecting the edges of the corridor and to avoid obstacles. I want to be able to analyze the images by extrapolating the pixels to find these edges.

Ps I am using python programming tool to develop the algorithms.
