hi,sir ,madam
i am final year mechanical engineering student in ethiopia and i would like to do my project on reuse of plastic waste in road construction and detail description of what kinda of machine it will use for the manufacturing of part design of the machine i would like to know such types of data in order to start my project it will be a greater help if you could assist me in this thank you.

The potential reuse of plastic waste in road construction: overview

Abstract
Now-a-days Plastic is everywhere in today's life. Recycling plastic waste is a big problem. It is non-biodegradable product, which these materials are environmental pollution and problems like breast cancer, reproductive problems in humans and animals, genital abnormalities and even a decline in human sperm count and quality. In recent years, the use of plastic waste in road construction were examined with great interest in many developing countries. Use of these materials in road construction is based on technical, economic and environmental criteria. Several million tons of plastic waste produced in India each year. If these materials can be used in the highway road construction, pollution and recycling problems can be partly reduced. Bearing in mind the need for the bulk of this waste in India, it was considered appropriate to examine those materials and the development of specifications for the increased use of plastic waste in road construction, in which the highest economic benefits may be possible. The possible use of these materials should be developed for the construction of light traffic in different parts of our country. An overview of the various plastics for use in road construction was discussed in this article.
Index Terms: polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (pp) and polystyrene (PS), plastic waste, bitumen, asphalt, etc.

introduction

Plastic is everywhere in today's life. It is used for packaging, protection, serving, and even dispose of all kinds of consumer goods. Since the beginning of the industrial revolution, mass production of goods began and plastic, it seemed, a cheaper and more efficient raw material. Today, every major sector of the economy, from agriculture to automotive, packaging, construction, communication or InfoTech was virtually revolutionized the plastics applications. The use of the nebiorazlagaemye (according to recent studies, plastics can remain unchanged as long as 4500 years on Earth) the product is growing rapidly, and the problem of what to do with plastic waste. Studies involve the improper disposal of plastic for problems as far as breast cancer, reproductive problems in humans and animals, genital abnormalities and even a decline in human sperm count and quality. If the ban is introduced on the use of plastics on emotional grounds, the real cost is much higher, much more inconvenience, the chances of damage or contamination is much greater. Family health risks and security will increase and, above all, the impact on the environment will be manifold. Thus, the question is not "plastic Vs not plastic", but this has more to do with the intelligent use and reuse of plastic waste.

In recent years, the use of plastic waste in road construction were examined with great interest in many developing countries. Use of these materials in road construction is based on technical, economic and environmental criteria. The absence of traditional road materials ithe environmental protection required to explore the possibility of using these materials carefully India has a large network of underground cities, located in different parts of the country and many more are planned for the near future. Several million tons of plastic waste are produced every year in India.

Traditionally, soil, stone, aggregates, sand, asphalt, cement, etc., are used in road construction. Natural materials, which are finite in nature, it is gradually reduced. In addition, the cost of extracting good quality natural material increases. Alarmed by this, scientists are looking for alternative materials for road construction, and plastic waste is one such category. If these materials can be used in the construction of highways, disposal and contamination problems can be partly reduced. In the absence of other outlets, these solid wastes occupied several acres of land around the plants all over the country. Bearing in mind the need for the bulk of solid waste management in India considered appropriate to test the materials and design specifications to extend the use of these plastic waste in road construction, in which the highest economic benefits may be possible. The possible use of these materials should be developed for the construction of light traffic in different parts of our country. The technical specifications shall be formulated and attempts should be made to maximize the use of solid waste at different layers of the pavement

Introduction

Plastic is everywhere in today's lifestyle. It is to serve, protect and even dispose of all kinds of consumer goods, packaging is used. With the material of the industrial revolution and mass production of plastic for an inexpensive and effective raw materials seemed to be started. Today, from agriculture to the economy each important area of packaging, automotive, construction, Communication or for the construction of plastic InfoTech applications has been revolutionized by. The use of this non-biodegradable (according to recent studies, plastic on Earth as long as 4500 years remain unchanged) is growing rapidly and the problem has to do with plastic waste. Studies have shown breast cancer, reproductive problems in humans and animals, Genital abnormalities and make sperm count and quality in humans fall as far as the problems linked to improper disposal of plastic. Restrictions put on the use of plastic emotional on the field, the actual cost would be much higher, inconvenience, damage or pollution is likely too much too much. All environmental burden will top many times the family will increase the risks for health and safety. The question is not ' no ' plastic vs Hencse but prudent use and plastic garbage is concerned with reuse.

In recent years, many of the applications of plastic waste in developing countries with great interest has been considered in road construction. Use of these materials in making the road, based on technical, economic and ecological criteria. The lack of traditional road goods and protecting the environment possible to use the contents carefully in India located in various parts of the country is a big metro cities to check the network to make it mandatory and many more are planned for the near future. Several million metric tons produced each year in India is plastic waste.

Traditionally clay, stone aggregates, sand, bitumen cement used for road construction, etc. Being natural ingredients by the extent in nature, its volume is declining gradually. In addition, the cost of taking good quality natural materials is increasing. Concerned about, scientists are looking for alternate content highway construction, and plastic waste product is a biggest fan section. These appropriate highway construction materials can be used, And pollution is partly disposal problems can be reduced. In the absence of other outlets, solid waste many acres of land nationwide througho has captured around plants. In India, the mind in solid waste considering the need to use the bulk of, Boo to test these materials and make these plastic waste to increase the use of specifications to develop expedient thought might potentially high economic returns. Possible to use these materials in different parts of our country, low volume road construction should not be developed. Required specifications and should not attempt, in different layers of solid waste street pavement in order to maximize the use of be prepared

100-160 ° c the heating on polypropylene and polyethylene, polystyrene, such as plastic, soft and are showing good binding properties. It's a mixed blending bitumen with results in soft plastic is responsible for laying the road. 1,500 Maharashtra State mixed km length has been used for laying out roads. Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Pondicherry, Kerala and other States also have test roads. Because of traffic, rain and the streets woven temperature changes has withstood heavy loads for

Polymer-bitumen-aggregate mix preparation

Clean and dry the plastic waste (e.g.: settlement Carrie bags, films, cups and Thermocole) (-4.75 mm 2.36 mm) maximum thickness 60 Micron with sliced into small pieces. PVC is not suitable for this process.
Gross is a mini hot mix plant is heating up at 165 ° c
Is added to the hot mixture into plastic. Plastic soft and give year total in 30-60 seconds to look at the surface gets coated in oil.
(160 ° c to a maximum of not binding on fairly good warm) is added to the hot bitumen and the material has been thoroughly mixed immediately.
110-120 degrees Celsius colder when the mixture, use 8 tonnes of road capacity road roller can be used for laying. Plastic 165 ° c maximum temperature is heated, the gas is not a development. 270 ° c up to hot, the plastic decomposed and 750 degrees Celsius above they get water for the production of harmful gases.
Mix of extended properties

The weight of the bitumen to the tune of 10-15% of the total of plastic coating improves the properties of the mixture:

Higher softening point and to connect with bitumen polymer molecules due to low entry point.
On the surface due to the plastic coating of moisture absorption capacity.
Better flexibility, high Marshall stability value.
Stripping better value (no soaking in water for 72 hours at stripping)
High compressive strength (> 100 sqm) and high flexural doubt
