Remote Labs and Resource Sharing in
Control Systems Education
The remote lab serves as a means of a distant-programming environment. The users can train on the control systems, widely employed in industrial applications. The laboratory infrastructure management, access-control system and the virtual remote desktops in combination provides the users an opportunity to work absolutely independently of the place and time. programmable logic controller simulator and similar software can be used by the students.
REMOTE LABS:
REMOTE LABS
remote labs provide users an opportunity
to use the equipment of the lab without aqctually being present there.
-It is unsuitable, if the user has to install a nonstandard
software on his/her computer
-because of the nature of the IP protocol suite, the real-time control over the Internet
standard protocols cannot be provided in most of the cases.
-the industry-based equipment must be taken care of.
NEW CONCEPT OF THE REMOTE LABS
Here a central server exists which controls the user management and authentication and also creates the virtual remote desktop for the user.
Network Infrastructure:
It has a group of physical models each of which are controlled by a programmable logic controller
(PLC).Internal, as well as external users connect to the system
uniformly via the LabLink server.
