ABSTRACT
Although current systems relay almost exclusively on mixture formation outside the combustion chamber, concept based on internal mixture formation. With the fuel being injected directly into the combustion chamber were actually the foundation for first gasoline injection system. As there system are superb instruments for achieving further reductions in fuel consumption. There are now becoming an increasingly significant factor.
Gasoline injection permits fuel to be preciously metered to the engine as a function of the operating and load status and taking account environmental influences. The air fuel mixture is controlled so that the toxic content of the exhaust gas is kept to low level.
By introducing fuel injection system in two stroke gasoline engine.
Pollution will be controlled by
Complete combustion of fuel
Providing lean mixture
Prevention of escape of fresh mixture to exhaust port
Same power will be maintained
Lesser fuel consumption.
Engine specification:
Engine - two strokes
Engine displacement - 98.2CC
Maximum power - 7.8bhp @5500rpm
Bore - 50mm
Stroke length - 50mm
Compression ratio - 6.7:1
Fuel consumption - around 67kmpl under standard specified test condition (at steady speed of 40kmph with a payload of 130kgs)
