Rawatbhata Rajasthan Site

Rawatbhata Rajasthan site is located in Rawatbhata, Chittrogarh District, through Kota, Rajasthan. Rawatbhata Site consists of 6 PHWR units in operation and two PHWR units under construction.

Rajasthan Atomic Power Station (RAPS 1) (100 MWe) PHWR completely de-industrialized and maintained under dry storage
The Rajasthan Atomic Power Station (RAPS 2) (200 MWe) in operation
The Rajasthan Atomic Power Station (RAPS 3 and 4) (2 x 220 MWe PHWR)
Rajasthan Atomic Energy Station (RAPS 5 and 6) (2 x 220 MWe PHWR)
The Rajasthan Atomic Energy Project (RAPP 7 and 8) (2 x 700 MWe PHWR)

Environmental approval for RAPS 3 and 4 was obtained from MoEF, New Delhi in 1989 under the Environmental Protection Act of 1986.
