I am doing my project in Matlab which involves audio signal processing.I need reference material.It seems to me that project content could be similar to the dsp project idea given in site, "rrr. Analyzing equalizer effects for a speech signals".Where can I find the reference material?

Audio signal processing, sometimes referred to as audio processing, is the intentional alteration of auditory signals, or sound.
