The AT89S52 microcontroller is used in this project to control the R305 fingerprint module. The characteristics of R305 are given below.


• DC power supply 4.5V-6.0V
• UART interface (TTL logic level) / USB 1.1
• Typical working current: 100mA Peak: 150mA
• 1: 1 and 1: N match mode
• Image acquisition time <0.5s
• Storage capacity 256
• Security level 5 (1, 2, 3, 4, 5 (maximum))
