This is the first time I am hearing about quantum dots. I gathered some valuable information about it by browsing on the internet. They are widely used in solid-state quantum computation. Highly sensitive cellular imaging is another area which uses quantum dots. They are also extensively used for real-time tracking of molecules and cells over prolonged periods of time. A lot of research has been going on in relation to the new areas in which they can be used. I am sure that future belongs to quantum dots.
