DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF W.T.C



SYNOPSIS:
Project is related to the design, development and selection of different parts such as Heat Exchanger, Piping system, Control valves, expansion tank. In this the selection inputs are depend on the capacity of engine. In actual running vehicles the temperature of engine gets controlled by radiator arrangement. In case of dynamometer engine on test bed needs separate arrangement for cooling. Almost one third amount of energy required to take out from engine.
In this project engine is going to test at different speed and load so there is variation in cooling load which should have to be controlled relatively. There is an incorporation of temperature compensated control valves by which we can control change in temperature. In this project design work is related to expansion tank, piping design, and basic structure. Selection includes type and size of heat exchanger, control velves, size of pipes, temp. Compensated control valves.
