HI am EVANS, i would like to get details on project report on substation fuse blown indicator WITH CIRCUIT AND EXPLANATIONS,FUNCTION OF THE COMPONENTS IN THE CIRCUIT.

Here is a simple scheme for adding a blown fuse indicator to your existing power supply circuit. This is done simply by adding a resistor and an LED to the existing circuit. The LED and the resistor are connected in series and this combination is connected in parallel to the existing fuse. When the fuse is intact, it offers low resistance and, therefore, the voltage drop will not be sufficient to illuminate the LED. When the fuse is released, it is equivalent to an infinite resistance, so the entire power supply will fall through the combination of the resistor LED series and make the LED glow. Resistor R1 is used to limit the current through the LED.

The values of the components of other components are not included in the diagram because they depend on the specific requirements of the power supply. Either way for a conventional 12V power supply, the component values are as follows: 1N4007 for D1, D2, D3 and D4; 230V primary, 12V secondary, reducing transformer 2A for T1, 2 A fuse and a capacitor of 1000uF / 25V for C1.

Notes.

• Mount the circuit on a general-purpose PCB.

• The circuit will not work if the load is not connected.

• A highly resistive load can also impart circuit operation.

• The components of this circuit can be easily obtained from your electronic waste box.
