Hi i am Bhasker Saiteja. I would like to get the details on project report on password based door locking system using 8051 microcontroller .
I am in need for this project and its an urgent requirement for me.
I am living in the Hyderabad. Currently i am studying B Tech 4th year in Malla reddy engineering college.

Traditional locking systems using mechanical locking and key mechanism are being replaced by new advanced locking system techniques. These techniques are an integration of mechanical and electronic devices and highly intelligent. One of the prominent features of these innovative locking systems is their simplicity and high efficiency.

This automatic locking system consists of an electronic control assembly that controls the output load through a password. This output load can be a motor or a lamp or any other mechanical / electrical load.

Here we developed an electronic code blocking system that uses an 8051 microcontroller, which provides control of the load drive. It is a simple embedded system with keyboard input and output being driven accordingly.

This system demonstrates a password-based door lock system in which once the correct code or password is entered, the door is opened and the interested person is allowed access to the secured area. Again, if someone else arrives, you will be prompted to enter the password. If the password is incorrect, then the door will remain closed, denying access to the person.

Principle Behind the Circuit:

The main component in the circuit is the 8051 controller. In this project the 4 × 3 keypad is used to enter the password. The entered password is compared to the default password.
If the password entered is correct, the system opens the door by turning the door motor and displays the status of the door on the LCD. If the password is incorrect, the door will remain closed and "pwd is wrong" appears on the LCD.
