Structures are required to provide input from the overhead line to the substation and to extend the required number of feeders. The number of structures should be kept to a minimum, since a large number of structures would not only be uneconomical, but give an ugly appearance to the substation and may become obstructions in the expansion of buses, lines, etc ... .


Before building any line, the survey is done. The route of the Line should be selected so that maintenance is easy and the line does not cause obstruction to vehicular traffic and should be the shortest, also, according to the engineering and economic principles. Transmission lines should, where possible, be directed to avoid difficult terrain and natural obstacles such as steep hills, dense forests, landslides, lakes, rivers, highly developed areas, etc. The correct and accurate survey results in quick construction and saving of unnecessary alignment and realignment at the time of carrying out actual construction work. All measurements should be taken with maximum precision and similarly the line graphs and profiles should be prepared with great care and caution. When lines are built on farmland, structures and anchors should be located so as to interfere as little as possible with the farm. Wherever such structures and anchors are necessary, they shall be located along fences or in uncultivated areas. During post alignment or underground wiring, care should be taken to determine the location of all underground services such as water pipes, sewers, telephone wires, power cables, drainage tiles, gas and oil piping etc. . To avoid damage. Transmission lines should be routed to avoid buildings and construction areas where possible.

The main 33KV bus is connected to the network located in Sector-25, INDIRANAGAR, LUCKNOW. Now the parallel transmission line is first connected with surge arrester to trigger the wave, followed by CVT connected in parallel. The CVT measures the voltage and turns a110V. A.C. For the control panel, at the location of a wave trap is connected to carrier communication at the higher frequencies. A current transformer is connected in series with the line measuring current and current descent in relation to 800: 1 for the control panel. Switching equipment is provided, which is the combination of a circuit breaker having an insulator at each end. A transformer is connected to the main bus via a bus coupler. The main bus has a total capacity of 160 MVA for 33 KV, which is subdivided into two 80 MVA transformer capacities (40MVA + 40MVA) connected in parallel for 33KV and two other 80KV transformer capacities (40KV + 40KV) are connected in parallel for the Substation. At both ends of the transformer lightning current transformer and switchgearequipment provided. The transformer lowers the voltage from 220KV to 33KV. The main bus is equipped with switching equipment and a current transformer. This gives way to six feeders that transmit energy to INDRA NAGAR. The main bus is connected to the bus bus or transfer bus via a bus coupler and 11KV is provided with switching equipment. This gives way to feeders who transmit power to Sector-25, BhootNath, MunshiPulia, Ring Road and Sarvoday Nagar.
