about conclusion and future scope.

Edge Avoider Robot (EAR) is a mobile device that detects and avoids the absence of surface beneath it. This simple concept was designed by our RB researchers to help your robot protect itself from falls. Like our previous robotic projects, this robot is also made without a microcontroller so that everyone feels more comfortable developing their own robot.

Required components:

Edge Avoider Robot only requires simple mechanical and electronic components such as:

• Robot Chassis - 1 no.

• 12 V DC motor (60 RPM) - 2 nos.

• Plastic wheels: 2 or 4 nos. (Based on the chassis)

• Breadboard - 1 no.

• IR sensor module - 1 no.

• IC 7805 - 1 no.

• IC NE555 - 1 no.

• IC L293D - 1 no.

• 10 μF capacitor - 2 nos.

• Capacitor of 0.1 μF - 1 no.

• 9V battery - 1 no. (requires according to the use)

• Battery holder - 1 no.

• Battery Snap - 1 no.

• Wires for test boards - 2 meters

• LED - 1 no.

• 1K and 10K resistors: every 1 no.

• 10K Trim Pot - 1 no
