Today in India, recycling is one of the areas that is rapidly increasing day by day. The amount of waste that comes is a tremendous amount. Aluminium cans and tin cans are one of the important products being recycled on a growing scale. To carry out this recycling, crushers are used. For the recycling of these cans, manual operation is being carried out in industries, which is a time-consuming process and ultimately leads to the reduction of the rate of production. In order to crush the cans in less time, we are designing a can crusher machine with Scotch yoke mechanism with crushing capacity of several or two sides. A can crushing machine is used to crush aluminum soda cans for recycling purposes and also to facilitate storage in recycling containers. The Scottish yoke mechanism converts rotary motion into reciprocating motion, this is the principle we are using in our can crusher.
