The union of the milk of Bhilwara was established in August, 1972 with the average milk supply of 250 ltrs. per day. The Bhilwara Milk Union was registered under the Rajasthan 1965 Cooperative Act with the motto to pay the compensating price to its milk producers around the year on their door step together with technical input services such as Animal Health, Programs Through Artificial Insemination and Natural Services and to provide quality products to the consumer at a competitive price.
It has a dairy plant that manages the capacity 2.0 lakh ltrs. By day with facilities to pack milk, ghee etc., its main products are Ghee, liquid milk Srikhand, Paneer, Chhach. Milk Union is having a cooling plant at the contracted ice factory in Shahapura.
Bhilwara Milk Union is an organization certified ISO 9001: 2008 and IS 15000 (HACCP). This Milk Union is affiliated with Rajasthan Co-operative Dairy Federation Ltd., Jaipur.
