Tons and tons of debris thrown on our mother earth every day. These residues not only cause damage to our environment but also pose a health risk. To use this water again, our governments are using water treatment plants.
The sewage is placed in an isolated chamber to stop the entry of oxygen, forcing the microorganism to use anaerobic respiration. As a result, bacteria begin to produce electrons. These electrons are transferred to the cathode compartment through an external electrical circuit, while the protons are transferred to the cathode compartment through the membrane. When we put resistance between them, we can produce electricity.
