Coordinated systems. Cartesian which refers to the French mathematician and philosopher René Descartes (Latin: Cartesius), who, among other things, worked to fuse Euclidean algebra and geometry. René Descartes who lived in the 1600s. When he was a child, he was often ill, so the teachers at his boarding school let him stay in bed until noon. He stayed in bed until noon for most of his life. Descartes thought of math and philosophy while he was in bed. One day, Descartes noticed a fly crawling on the roof. He watched the fly for a long time. He wanted to know how to tell another person where the fly was. He finally realized that he could describe the position of the fly by its distance from the walls of the room. When he got out of bed, Descartes wrote down what he had discovered. He then tried to describe the positions of the points, in the same way that he described the position of the fly. Descartes had invented the coordinate plane! In fact, the coordinate plane is sometimes called the Cartesian plane, in his honor.

Application of coordinate systems

1. Describe the position The position of any object in the real world can be described using a simple coordinate system. For example, you could describe the position of your phone as 2 meters in front of the door, 3.5 meters from the ground and 4 meters from the window. In a coordinate system, each of the three numbers used to describe the position of an object corresponds to a coordinate axis. The place where zeros values are found along each axis is called origin. In this example, X equals 2, Y equals 4, and Z equals 3.5.

2. Location of air transport. Every time one has the need to know the location of something - where something should be or where something really is - a coordinate plane is a very useful tool. For this reason, the applications that make use of the assignment are common. An air traffic controller should know the location of each aircraft in the sky within certain geographical boundaries. To describe the location of each aircraft, coordinates are assigned to each vehicle in the air. Alternatively, the "air traffic controller" may assign to each "aircraft" certain coordinates, and the "aircraft" may report to the appropriate location. So the coordinate system is one of the most important parts of air transport. What happens if the coordinate systems do not exist, the pilots or others that are associated with the aircraft do not know the position or the location of the aircraft so the percentage of aircraft accidents will increase.

3. Map projections. A projected coordinate system is any coordinate system designed for a flat surface, such as a printed map or a computer screen. 2D and 3D Cartesian coordinate systems provide the mechanism for describing the geographic location and shape of entities using x and y values. The Cartesian coordinate system uses two axes: one horizontal (x), representing east-west, and one vertical (y), representing north-south. The point at which the axes intersect is called origin. The locations of geographic objects are defined with respect to the origin, using notation (x, y), where x refers to the distance along the horizontal axis and y refers to the distance along the vertical axis. The origin is defined as (0,0).

4. Latitude and Longitude Describing the correct location and shape of the features requires a coordinate frame to define the real world locations. A geographic coordinate system is used to map geographic locations to objects. A global latitude-longitude coordinate system is one such framework. They are measures of the angles (in degrees) from the center of the earth to a point on the surface of the earth. This type of coordinate reference system is often referred to as a geographic coordinate system.

5. Economics In economics, we use mathematics extensively, to analyze and manage. During the last century the connection between mathematics, economists and statistics was achieved, the new science that was given, called "Econometrics". In economics, the Lorenz curve is a graphical representation of the cumulative distribution function of the empirical probability distribution of wealth or income and was developed by Max O. Lorenz in 1905 because it represents the inequality of the distribution of wealth and each calculation is Applied in coordinate system.

6. The Cartesian coordinate system of military service is also important in military service. For each objective there are coordinates to determine the exact position of the same. For example, a soldier wants to exploit some targets of the enemy, so he must know the exact position of the target. If you know the position with coordinates, then it is as easy to exploit or erase the target of the enemy by warships or others. But it is important that you have to know exact coordinates, because if you do not calibrate correctly will lead to an incalculable result.
