Hi am Giriraj i would like to get details on ppt on 220 kv gss sikar ..My friend said ppt on 220 kv gss sikar will be available here and now i am living at ......... and i last studied in the college/school ......... and now am doing ....i need help on ......etc

In India the Electrecal power is generated at a voltage of 11 kV to 33 kV, which is intensified up to the transmission level in the range of 66 kv to 400 kv. The member of the transmission and switching must be created, which is known as "Substation". The substation is a set of devices that transform the characteristics of electrical energy from one form to another, for example, from one voltage level to another.

Electric power is generated, transmitted in the form of alternating current. The electric power produced in power plants is delivered to consumers through a large transmission and distribution network. The transmission network is unavoidable and the high power lines are necessary to maintain a large block of power generation source to the load centers to interconnect. The set of apparatuses used to change some characteristics (for example, voltage, ac to cd, frequency, power factor, etc.) of the electric supply maintaining the constant power is called substation. An electrical substation is a subsidiary station of a system of generation, transmission and distribution of electricity where the voltage is transformed from high to low or vice versa by transformers. Electric power can flow through several substations between the generating plant and the consumer, and voltage can be changed in several steps.
