Steganography is the art of hiding the existence of data in another medium of transmission to achieve secret communication. The steganography method used in this work is based on biometry. And the biometric feature used to implement steganography is the skin tone region of the images. Here the secret data is embedded within the region of the skin of the image which will provide an excellent safe location for hiding data. For this detection of skin tone is performed using the HSV color space (Tone, Saturation and Value). In addition, embedding of secret data is done by the frequency domain approach - DWT (Discrete Wavelet Transformation), DWT exceeds DCT (Discrete Cosine Transform). This study shows that by adopting an object orientate steganography mechanism, in the sense that, tone objects in the image will gain greater security.
The goal of steganography in general is to hide the data well enough so that unintended receivers do not suspect the steganography medium of containing hidden data. Steganisis is the science of detecting hidden information. The main goal of steganisis is to break steganography and stego image detection is the goal of steganisis. In steganography, the secret image is embedded in the cover image and transmitted in such a way that the existence of information is undetectable. Stego image is referred to as an image that is obtained by embedding the secret image into the covert image. The hidden message can be plain text, cipher text or images, etc. Steganography, copyright protection for digital media and data embedding are data hiding techniques. Steganography is a method of hiding secret information using cover images.
