The intelligent wireless video camera described in this document is designed with a wireless video monitoring system to detect the presence of a person within the restricted area. This type of automatic wireless video monitors is very suitable for isolated restricted areas, where strict security is required. The principle of remote sensing is used in this, to detect the presence of anyone who is very close to the reference point in the area.
A video camera collects the images from the reference points and then converts them into electronic signals. The collected images are converted from visible light into invisible electronic signals into a solid state camera. These signals are transmitted to the monitor. Each reference point is arranged with two infrared LEDs and one lamp. This arrangement is designed to detect the presence of a person near the reference point. The reference point is nothing more than a restricted area, when a person approaches a reference point, and then that particular reference point output will become high and this high signal will be transmitted to the computer. The computer now energizes that particular reference point lamp and rotates the video camera toward that reference point to collect the images at that particular reference point.
The video surveillance unit is designed for the widest viewing range and portability. The unit consists of a stepper motor, which drives the camera towards the reference points automatically by the computer and a transmitter transmits the images collected by the camera to a distant end. Therefore, a wireless camera with automatic control is very useful for monitoring places where the particular location makes it inconvenient or impractical for a wired operation of the unit. The robotic action performed by the stepper motor is connected to the camera and allows surveillance of the maximum area with a single camera.
Such configuration can be very flexible for the user and can save valuable company resources. There are several types of security systems in the Market; one of the most common security systems is CCTV (Closed Circuit Television). The CCTV consists of a video surveillance camera used as a security monitoring device that plays an important role in security systems. One reason for this is the fact that a picture is worth a thousand words. This is especially true in a court of law where an eyewitness is required that can locate the offender at the scene of a crime.
CCTV systems are also useful in the residential security market. They allow homeowners to see callers, thereby establishing their identity before opening a front door. This is an important feature as well, because otherwise, they could open the door to a delinquent.
The infrared detection circuit consists of two infrared LEDs to transmit the signal and receive the signal. The signal transmitted by the transmitter LED omits the signal on a line such as the laser beam, the radiated signal from the transmitter LED is invisible and harmless. Each time the human body interrupts the transmission signal, there the signal is reflected and this reflected signal is received by the infrared receiver LED.
